Mariposa's Annual Butterfly Festival

This years Festival is on
April 30, May 1, & 2, 2010

(~Always the First Full Weekend in May~)

Located in the Historic Goldrush Town of
Mariposa, California.
Where State Highways 140 and 49 Meet.   



Mariposa Butterfly Festival

"Mariposa" is the Spanish word for Butterfly.
This year the Butterfly Festival will begin on Fri., April 30th and continue through the weekend of May 1st & 2nd, 2010. Mariposa celebrates its namesake at the town's Annual Butterfly Festival. The festival is a fun filled family weekend that includes live butterfly releases, a parade, Art & Artisan show and live entertainment. There are also many other family friendly events throughout the weekend.
